SENIOR ADULT COUNSELING, WEST COUNTY COMMUNITY SERVICES (WCCS)

Description: Provides 12 in-home, or remote counseling sessions by supervised volunteer peer counselors. Helps fellow seniors residing in Sonoma County. Counselors address the challenges of aging, grief, and the use of community resources. Offers weekly support groups for men and women. Offers a focus on issues such as retirement, challenges in caregiving, and health. Includes grief, isolation, relationships, and communication.
