Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP):
Provides energy efficiency upgrades to low-income households to lower their monthly utility bills. Provides up to $1,000 in financial assistance to help pay your eligible household energy costs. This includes assistance with bill for heating, cooling, and home weatherization expenses.
Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help Program (REACH):
Helps low-income families pay for energy during times of hardship.
REACH is specific to PG&E territory and provides an energy credit up to $1,000. The same income guidelines are used for CARE program.
Eligibility: Sonoma County and Mendocino County residents.

REACH Guidelines:
-Have a residential account with PG&E in the name of an adult living in the household
-Have received either a 15-day or a 48-hour disconnection notice
-Not have received REACH assistance within the past 12 months
-Have household income that does not exceed the REACH income guidelines, which are currently 200 percent above the federal poverty guidelines. The same income guidelines are used for the CARE program.
