  • Description: Provides a free, eight-session, peer-to-peer educational program for adults with mental illness. Program offers mutual support in a confidential space. Helps participants better understand themselves and their recovery. Includes the following opportunities for participants:
    • Setting a vision and goals for the future
    • Developing confidence to make decisions
    • Practicing relaxation and stress reduction techniques
    • Enhancing communication skills
    • Sharing one's personal experience with their peers in the group
    • Learning about mental health treatment options
