Description: Helps students overcome or adapt to their specific disabilities both in the classroom and in daily life. Provides services that are necessary to help a student benefit from his special education program. These services are agreed upon during a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting. Related services may include, but are not limited to, the following: Adaptive Physical Education (APE), Audiological services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Low Incidence Services, Speech and Language Services, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Orientation and Mobility Services, Visually Handicapped Services.
Eligibility: Students between 3 and 22 years of age whose vision, speech, language, hearing, emotional or physical problems affect their ability to benefit from their educational program.
