Description: Students at BCHS complete courses independently, outside the classroom setting and under the supervision of a credentialed teacher. Work is completed using textbooks, the Internet, research outside of school and projects. Students attend weekly class appointments with their assigned teacher to assess their learning and to turn in their completed assigned work. With a flexible schedule, students have the ability to complete credits toward graduation while working, attending college, or volunteering in the community. BCHS has five satellite sites in the following communities to ensure we are reaching all students: Tule River Indian Reservation, Strathmore, Terra Bella, Woodville, and Porterville Developmental Center.
