Description: For more immediate financial assistance, the City offers the Emergency Repair Program grant up to $10,000. This program is designed to provide financial assistance for those emergency repairs that pose a threat to one's health and safety. Assistance is limited to emergency repairs only. These repairs can include, but are not limited to roofing, plumbing and electrical and HVAC system. ADA modification is also available.

Eligibility: Assistance is limited to emergency repairs only. Must be a income qualifying homeowner and a City of Hanford resident. Not available for county residents. Priority is given to elderly and disabled.
