• Description: Out of an abundance of caution and in order to mitigate the potential spread of COVID-19 to our staff and clients, the Kings County Veterans Services Office will close our lobby to the public, effective immediately and until further notice. We will continue to work, processing claims and providing information and guidance, via phone, fax and email. We can be contacted by phone at 559-852-2669 or at Vet.Services@co.kings.ca.us.Through the California Department of Veterans Affairs, children and dependents of disabled or deceased Veterans may have college tuition fees waived. VA disability ratings of 0% or greater qualify. This waiver of tuition fees applies only to California Universities, State and Community colleges. Benefits are awarded on an academic year basis. Students are required to reapply annually.
