Description: AVP Central Valley operates under Alternatives to Violence Project/ California, a 501c3, and is dedicated to finding healthy ways to deal with conflict. The pandemic has caused excess stress and we are running a series of workshops that combine structured and unstructured group time, where participants can discuss issues surrounding mental health and wellness. Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) is volunteer run organization dedicated to reducing violence in society by offering workshops that build community, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
