Description: KGM Thrift Store Manager, Mirna Borbon, has launched a new Internship Program initiative by partnering with the Advanced Professional Sales Instructor of Hanford West High School. The Internship Program will happen Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday's for approximately 1 1/2 hours. A bus will shuttle students from KGM Thrift Stores to Hanford West High. By participating, students will have the opportunity to give back to the City of Hanford and gain job experience.Students will get a sample of what the real world expects of them after graduation. Also, they will learn practical hands-on training in time-management, customer service, and attend safety meetings! Each student will be given tasks to complete that contribute to the overall functions of the store. The tasks will include replenishing clothing racks, greeting customers, and maintaining a clean working environment.
