  Personal Care and Homemaker Services:

  Provides support to manage healthy conditions at home instead of a higher-cost facility-based setting. Support includes:

  • Personal Care
  • Meal Preparation
  • Supervision/Socialization
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Medication Reminders

  Respite Care:

  Provides a break to the primary caretaker on an intermittent or temporary basis. Services include:

  • Non-Medical (In-Home)
  • Maintain Typical Routine
  • Routine Non-Medical Tasks: Activity Daily Living (ADLs)/ Instrumental Activities of Dailing Living (IADLs)

  Note: CalAIM hours do not replace IHSS hours, CalAIM services are intended to complement IHSS, and the combined hours cannot exceed 24/7
