Description: Delivers special education programs and services to students with learning disabilities. Provides state-mandated regional coordination and leadership, information to parents and community, and generally sees to the compliance of special education programs and allocation of funds to districts and county offices. Adult Living Skills (serving young adults with developmental disabilities) Program located at Sol West in Davis Autism Programs (serving from Grades K-12 who have Autism) Programs located at Greengate School Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program (serving infants and students from Pre-K to Grade 6 who are deaf and hard of hearing) Programs located at Plainfield Elementary and Greengate School Horizon Program (serving students from Grades K-12 who have significant emotional needs) Whitehead Elementary program serves Grades K-6 Lee Middle School program serves Grades 7-8 Woodland High, Davis Senior High, and Yolo Education Center programs serve Grades 9-12 Infant Program (serving children 0-3 with developmental disabilities) Programs located at Greengate School Multiple Disabilities Program(serving students from Pre-K to adults with multiple disabilities) Programs located at Greengate School, Riverbank School, and Yolo Education Center
Eligibility: Children aged birth to 22 years old may be referred to their district of residence or school if learning disabilities are suspected. All staff and parents in relation to special education.
