Description: Provides information, support, services, and a way to access and apply for disaster assistance.Assistance from the FEMA Individuals and Households Program may include: Funds for temporary housing, such as rental assistance or reimbursement for hotel costs. A temporary housing unit when there is a lack of available housing resources to rent. Funds to support the repair or replacement of owner-occupied homes. Funds for other uninsured or under-insured disaster-caused expenses and serious needs. Funds for hazard mitigation assistance to help eligible homeowners repair or rebuild stronger, more durable homes.

Eligibility: Limited to victims of a federally declared emergency. Individuals and families whose insurance, or other forms of disaster assistance services, were not sufficient to cover the expenses and serious needs directly caused by a declared disaster.
Requirements: Photos of damaged home and belongings, list of damaged or lost items, insurance determination letter (if you have insurance, you must file a claim), home ownership/occupancy verification, and proof of ID.
