Description: Partners with eligible low-income families and the local community to repair homes in Yolo County. Helps families stay in their homes and avoid displacement by providing affordable home repairs that address health and safety concerns.Repairs include general repairs (roof repairs, plumbing, window replacement, etc.), accessibility and safety repairs (ramps, bathroom modifications, etc.), and mobile home repairs. Program offers deferred 0% interest 20 - 30 year loan options.Applications for home repairs in Yolo are now being accepted. View application form (English/Spanish).

Eligibility: Priority is given to low-income families, veterans, and elderly residents.Applicants must meet the following requirements:1. Must own and occupy the home as a primary residence.2. Must be willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity (this includes contributing sweat equity hours towards the repair project).3. Must have the ability to pay a portion (20%) of the total repair cost.4. Requirements: - Proof of ownership of property (most recent mortgage statement)- Proof of current homeowners insurance (current homeowners insurance policy declaration page)- Most current tax year filing for anyone over the age of 18 in the household- CA driver's license or other identification for anyone over the age of 18 in the household
