• Eligibility: Priority is given to low-income families, veterans, and senior residents.Applicants must meet the following requirements:1. Must own and occupy the home as a primary residence.2. Must be willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity (this includes contributing sweat equity hours towards the repair project).3. Must have the ability to pay a portion (20%) of the total repair cost.4. Must have an acceptable credit history.5. Gross annual income must fall below the maximum income guidelines listed below.2025 Income-Based Eligibility Guidelines:Household size of 2: minimum income of $30,200; maximum income of $80,600Household size of 3: minimum income of $34,000; maximum income of $90,650Household size of 4: minimum income of $37,750; maximum income of $100,700Household size of 5: minimum income of $40,800; maximum income of $108,800Household size of 6: minimum income of $43,800; maximum income of $116,850Household size of 7: minimum income of $48,650; maximum income of $124,900Household size of 8: minimum income of $54,150; maximum income of $132,950
• Requirements: Documents needed include:- Home Repair Loan Program Application Packet filled out and signed- Disclosure and Authorization for Consumer Reports for anyone over 18 in the household - CA Driver's License or other Identification for anyone over 18 in the household - Social Security Cards for Applicant & Co-Applicant - Legal U.S. Resident Status for Applicant & Co-Applicant (birth certificate, passport, or legal resident card) - DD 214 Form (if applicable) for any veteran household members - Proof of Homeownership (most recent mortgage statement)- Proof of current Homeowners Insurance - Federal Income Tax Returns with W-2 and/or 1099 Forms for the previous two years.- Employment Income Verification- An award letter or other verification for all other income sources, including any of the following: Social Security, VA Benefits, TANF/CalWORKS, Unemployment, and Disability- Account Statements for any accounts of household members 18 or over- Current Credit Report for Applicant and Co-Applicant;- Utility Bills
