Description: Homeless drop-in center with referral and linkage to veteran specific as well as community resources, assistance for homeless veterans with placements in emergency housing, transitional housing, residential substance abuse treatment, and screening for the HUD-VASH (Veteran's Housing Choice Voucher) program.A VA Northern California homeless services care coordinator can help with: Immediate food and shelter, including both transitional and permanent housing Job training, life skills development, and education Support with justice system navigation and community re-entry from jail Financial support to prevent homelessness Treatment for addiction and depression Health and dental careChat or text services available 24/7.
