Description: Provides services for adults and juveniles placed on probation by the Superior Courts in Yolo County.Adult Services:Adult Court Unit: provides the Court with reports that include background information about defendants, the alleged offense, and rehabilitation-related recommendations.Adult Supervision Unit: monitors client compliance with Court-ordered terms and conditions of supervision.Pre-Trial Services: provides the Court with background information to determine appropriate release for defendants in custody before sentencing. Monitors and supervises released defendants to minimize risks of non-appearance at court proceedings and risks to public safety.Juvenile Services:Juvenile Intake/Court/Placement Unit: assesses youth who are referred to probation to determine their need for services and their risk to the community.Juvenile Services Unit: provides supervision for juveniles on probation and transitional-aged youth on adult probation.
