Eligibility: Low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children until the age of 5. Including foster children, children living with single fathers, or other primary caregivers. A family will auto-qualify if they have Medi-cal, CalFresh, or CalWORKS.Families who do not have Medi-cal, CalFresh, or CalWORKS may qualify based on household size and gross income. Immigration status is not considered when determining WIC eligibility.WIC Income Guidelines 2022 (valid 04/1/23- 06/30/24):1 Person in Household: $2,248 Monthly2 People in Household: $3,041 Monthly3 People in Household: $3,833 Monthly4 People in Household: $4,625 Monthly5 People in Household: $5,418 Monthly6 People in Household: $6,210 Monthly7 People in Household: $7,003 Monthly8 People in Household: $7,795 Monthly$793 per added family member. Unborn children should be counted in family total.
Requirements: For certification appointments you are required to bring:- Proof of household gross income- Proof of current address- Identification for the person being certified (license, IZ card, birth certificate, etc) and- The person being certified must attend the appointmentIf you receive Medi-Cal you may bring that card as proof of income eligibility.
