Description: Provides training to providers, individuals, and other caregivers to intervene earlier in a mental health crisis. Services include: Talk Saves Lives: Standardized 45-60 minute education program on suicide prevention. Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide. Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid: Teaching individuals in the community to recognize the signs and symptoms of various mental illnesses and how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis (Youth Mental Health First Aid focuses on helping adults recognize how differently these signs and symptoms might present in adolescents) Q-P-R-Questions, Persuade, Refer: Trains individuals to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.Suicide Prevention in the Workplace: Includes videos, group discussions/exercises, and roleplays to create a better understanding of your role in suicide prevention and identify risk factors and warning signs.
