Description: Provides home ownership assistance by helping individuals refinance predatory loans leading to foreclosure.Refinance eligibility is listed on the website or can be obtained by phone. If eligible, an individual must attend the workshop as the first step in gaining assistance; the workshops usually take place on a Saturday for four hours. They provide detailed information for a participant to become NACA Qualified or mortgage-ready.In addition to the workshop, a Mortgage Submission form must be completed either online or at the office.

Eligibility: At-risk homeowners in need of an affordable mortgage payment or homeowners in need of funds to make important repairs. See Refinance Eligibility on the website; included in eligibility is that the individual must live on the property and not own other properties, and there is a maximum purchase price depending on the service area.
Requirements: To start the process, homeowners must provide the following documents:- Proof of income. Wage earners should provide paystubs. Self-employed individuals should provide their 1099 and most recent 6 months' bank statements- Tax returns - last two years- 4506T Form- A Hardship letter
