Description: Offers mortgage relief for income-eligible households who faced a pandemic-related financial hardship after January 21, 2020. HUD-certified housing counselors offer assistance, help clients review eligibility, and assist with applications or paperwork.
Eligibility: Household income is at or below 100% of the county's local median income, be at least two mortgage payments past due by December 27, 2021. Must currently own and occupy the property as their primary residence. May only own and occupy one property, homeowner must owe $80,000 or less at the time of application submission.
Requirements: Mortgage statements, bank statements, utility bill, and income documentation (paystubs, tax returns, or unemployment document).
