All legal staff and volunteers at CHIRLA are supervised by licensed attorneys, BIA-accredited representatives, Juris Doctors, and trained paralegals. CHIRLA's Legal Services Department has helped thousands of individuals to become citizens, reunite with their families and apply to become a DACA beneficiary.CHIRLA's Community Education and Outreach section provides free information, group seminars, presentations, and workshops on Coalition Building, Policy, Civic Engagement, Worker's Rights, Community/Police Relations and other social services relevant to our immigrant community.CHIRLA's Resources section provides a Know Your Rights Tool Kit as well as a Family Preparedness Plan and other great information regarding your rights.
