We offer hormonal birth control (the pill, patch, ring, shot, implant, IUD); non-hormonal birth control (natural family planning, copper IUD, condoms); and permanent birth control (tubal ligation, vasectomy).For Women, this office will not fight you if you are seeking a tubal ligation. Your first appointment with them is to ask why you want it and how sure you are. Then they will have you wait a month to think things over to make sure your 100% sure. The next appointment is making sure that you still want the tubal ligation and then the appointment after is to prepare for your surgery. You will then have a pre-op appointment to get things handled and then you have your surgery 2 weeks later. Medi-cal will cover the cost of the surgery. The surgery will be done at Mad River Community hospital in Arcata.
