Description: Provides state and federal tax preparation for low income and moderate income households. Offers back tax preparation and assistance with filing amendments to previous years.
Hours: Center for Employment Training Salinas Office: February 7th - April 15th, Wednesday 4:30pm-8pm
Hartnell College Main Campus: February 8th - April 11th, Thursday 5:30pm-9pm
Hartnell College Alisal Campus: February 10th - April 13th, Saturday 9am- Noon
Eligibility: Monterey County residents with 2023 annual household income less than $60,000
Requirements: Original photo identification and Social Security cards required, copies not accepted, bring both as proof of identification, Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) assignment letter may substitute for Social Security Number
a) photo identification of both spouses if married
b) Social Security cards of taxpayer, spouse, and dependents
c) birthdates of taxpayer, spouse, and dependents
d) Form W-2, Form 1098, and Form 1099 from all employers
e) Form 1095 A, Form 1095 B, and Form 1095 C if applicable
f) 2023 state and federal tax returns
z) additional required documents if applicable
