Hours: Merced United Way: Starting February 3, 2024, Walk-ins every Saturday (for the waitlist of the day, call or sign up online starting at 8:45 am) Starting February 1, 2024, please call (209)384-1329 to schedule an appointment Tuesday to Friday. All other locations call for an appointment
Eligibility: Available for -Households with annual income of less than $100,000 in 2023. -Taxpayers with disabilities -Limited-English speaking taxpayers
Requirements: **VITA REQUIREMENTS** Copy of last year's taxes (if available) Valid photo ID for all adults on the return Social security cards or ITIN letters for everyone on the return Wage and earning statements: W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC Health insurance forms: 1095-A or 3895 Medi-cal forms: 1095-B or 1095-C Form 1098-T (if you were a student) Interest and divided statements: 1099-INT, 1099-DIV Total amounts paid to childcare providers and their tax ID numbers Bank routing and account number if you want to receive a direct deposit
