  • Description: Provides a range of services to victims and witnesses to crimes. Advocates and claims staff are available to assist victims with resources. They also help with out-of-pocket expenses incurred as the result of a crime. Services include: Information Services - Information about services available and eligibility requirements Counseling Services - Counseling, counseling resource and referral services, and follow-up counseling services Claims Assistance - Help with filing financial claims forms Justice System Information Assistance - Helps one understand the criminal justice system. Offers support during court appearances. Helps retrieve property held in evidence. Notification Assistance - Helps notify friends, relatives, and employer (as requested).
