Social workers investigate allegations. Cases that do not require investigation are referred to other services. Aims to help families create safe and stable homes, promote the well-being of children, and prevent abuse or neglect.Abuse can include physical abuse, neglect and self-neglect, mental suffering, and financial abuse.
