Description: Provides one-on-one personal advocacy support for pregnancy and parenting related concerns. Offers services in Mt. Shasta and Yreka. Volunteer advocates provide compassionate resources pregnancy and parenting related concerns, including: Self-test pregnancy test availability (Choices does not diagnose) Pregnancy guidance and support Parenting support via 1:1 conversations, printed materials and online videos. Parents determine their needs and support offered from their advocate. Practical resources such as baby and young child items, including clothing, blankets, car seats, and other related items (as available) Diapers and wipes once per week, one package per child Personal emotional support for women, men, moms, dads, grandparents, foster parents and other family members Referrals to local social and family services Supportiveconversations around loneliness/anxiety/frustrations, co-parenting, sexualtrauma, partner violence (emotional and physical), and addiction Formula for clients on a limited basis.Please note: Allresources are on an as-available basis.Donationsof all of the above items, new or gently used and clean, are always welcome.
