  • Description: Registers voters, maintains current and accurate voter files, and conducts Federal, State, County, and City elections within Sacramento County. Voter Registration:Voter Registration forms can be picked up at DMV offices, libraries, social service agencies, US post offices, or the Voter Registration Office. Individuals can also call the main line to request a form by mail (request must be submitted before 5 pm on October 29, 2024).Individuals can register to vote online or check their voter registration status at www.registertovote.ca.gov. Voters must re-register when they move, change a name or change political party affiliation.To be eligible to vote, a Voter Registration Form must be submitted online by midnight no later than 15 days before the election or must be mailed and postmarked no later than 15 days before the election. Registration deadline is October 21, 2024. After this date, voters can still register or re-register conditionally, but they must go to a Vote Center location and vote in person.
