This includes establishing and maintaining a monthly budget, paying monthly bills, creating savings goals, organizing and keeping track of financial records, negotiating with creditors, and protecting clients from financial fraud, abuse, or exploitation.Advocates for clients regarding SSI/SSA programs, Veteran's Administration programs, money management, and social service referrals.Provides personal financial counseling, fraud prevention, and budgeting assistance. Hours: Phone Hours: Monday through Friday 9 am - 3 pm;Closed on Federal Holidays
Eligibility: Anyone who has difficulty managing their day-to-day financial affairs.
Requirements: Intake Form, ID, social security card, Medi-Cal card, Medicare card, social security information, other income information, and budget documents (example: rental agreements and current bills such as utilities, credit cards, and fines.), and a current photo.
