Description: Provides services to eligible children from birth through 36 months of age who have delays in one or more areas of development. They work to recognize the child's current abilities and identify specific opportunities to support their development. Can provide services in the following fields: Early Childhood Special Education Child Development Speech and Language Therapy Occupational and Physical Therapy Nutrition Hearing and Vision Assistive Technology Infant-Parent Mental HealthConnects children and their families with others through: Infant Massage Classes Music and Language Classes Nutrition Education Parent Wellness Events Family Support Workshops Advocacy Transition Support Participation in Community Activities.Infant Development Program Overview Brochure
Eligibility: Must fit one of the following criteria:- A 33% delay in one area of development for children under 24 months- Two 33% or one 50% delay in one area of development for children 24 months and older- Children with a solely low incidence disability (deaf, blind, deaf/blind, or orthopedic impairment)- Children with a medical condition that may cause developmental delays
