Provides struggling families financial assistance for child care. Is funded by the State of California. Reimburses the child care costs. A "need" must be identified such as;
- Work
- School
- Job seeking
- Another approved activity identified in the California Education Code

Eligibility: Santa Barbara County families who show a "need". A "need" could be identified as work, school, job seeking. Children who are at risk of abuse, neglect or exploitation, receiving child protective services, homeless or incapacitated may also be eligible with referral from a licensed professional.
Requirements: Proof of income, Proof of Residency, Identification of adults in home, birth certificates for all children in home
