• Description: Provides one to three nurse home visits for newborns within the first three months of bringing the newborn home. Nurse visit includes:
  • Lactation (breastfeeding) support
  • Mother and newborn medical assessment
  • Baby blues/postpartum depression information and support
  • Information and referrals for developmental concerns
  • Preschool for siblings
  • Addressing emotional issues
  • Connection to other local resources
  COVID-19 Update: At this time, WEB is offering both in-home and/or telehealth visits depending on the family's unique needs/concerns. If a family chooses to have an in-home visit, all family members present will be screened for Covid-19 symptoms and need to provide verification of being fully vaccinated (if eligible) or provide a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of the visit. When a Covid-19 home test is to be used, it must be completed in front of the WEB-FC Nurse. We also ask that all those (above 2 years of age) present at the visit wear a mask.
