Offers a three week course emphasizing on cardiac and stroke education.Classes include healthy eating, diabetes and physical activity education.
Sessions consist of cardiac/stroke risk assessment screening, lectures of heart disease and stroke, education on My Plate, label reading, portion size and a weekly food demonstration of healthy recipes. Diabetes education is also provided as part of this series.
