Offers a 24/7 child abuse hotline. Responds to reports of physical or emotional child abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation. Provides safety and protection for children who are at risk of or are suffering abuse.

Child abuse is defined by California law as:
- Non-accidental physical injury of a child
- Sexual abuse or exploitation of a child
- Willful cruelty or unjustifiable punishment of a child
- Neglect of a child, including failure to provide adequate food, clothing, shelter, medical care or supervision
