Description: During COVID-19 response (updated 9/4/20), job center is closed to the public, but employment services are being offered by phone or video conference. Call for assistance during program hours.
Provides job training and employment services to youth of the South Bay Area of Los Angeles. Serves youth ages 14-24, and all services are offered at no cost. Eligible youth may earn paid work experience and receive high school credit as a mentor/tutor to children.
Services include:
- Resumes - Interview skills - Career preperation - Access to computers - Bridge-to-Work program - Job placement assistance - Occupational skills training - Internet job search assistance - Jobseeker workshops & seminars - Job fairs, company tours, job shadowing - Assessment of your skills, abilities, and interests
