Description: Provides two types of discount programs to SCE customers who qualify.
CARE: The California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) program provides qualifying individuals and households of two or more receive up to 30% off their electric bills
FERA: The Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) plan offers qualifying families and households of three or more receive an 18% discount on their electric bills.

Eligibility: Based on income and household size or enrollment in public benefit program.

Additionally, you may qualify for CARE if you or someone in your home participates in one of the following public assistance programs:

-Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
-Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
