Description: The Kaweah Water Foundation is now accepting applications for replacement drinking water from local residents with nitrate impacted drinking water. Qualifying local residents can use this application to receive free domestic well testing and replacement drinking water. Local residents can visit www.kaweahwater.org to complete the application in English or Spanish. If a resident prefers a paper application, they can request one by calling the Kaweah Water Foundation's bilingual assistance phone line at (559) 325-4463 or emailing admin@kaweahwater.org.
Eligibility: 1.Your residence is within the KWF service area and is not connected to a state or county-regulated Public Water System that already provides water that meets the nitrate drinking water standard.2. If your drinking water is provided by a domestic well, evidence that the domestic well provides water with nitrate levels above 10 mg/L. If you do not know the nitrate concentration of your well, the KWF will contact you to set up an appointment to test your well for free.3. Be willing to sign a customer agreement to receive bottled water deliveries.
