Description: Tule Basin Management Zone is accepting applications from residents that use a private well for their drinking water and it is determined that their well water contains elevated levels of nitrate. Qualifying local residents can use this application to receive free domestic well testing and safe drinking water. Local residents can visit tulemz.com to complete the application in English or Spanish. If a resident prefers a paper application, they can request one by calling the Tule Basin Management Zone's bilingual assistance phone line at (559) 429-6970 or emailing admin@tulemz.com

Eligibility: 1.Your residence is within the TBMZ service area and is not connected to a state or county-regulated Public Water System that already provides water that meets the nitrate drinking water standard.2. If your drinking water is provided by a domestic well, evidence that the domestic well provides water with nitrate levels above 10 mg/L. If you do not know the nitrate concentration of your well, TBMZ will contact you to set up an appointment to test your well for free.3. Be willing to sign a customer agreement to receive bottled water deliveries.
