HEALTH INSURANCE COUNSELING & ADVOCACY PROGRAM (HICAP), VENTURA COUNTY AREA AGENCY ON AGING (VCAAA)

Description: Provides free unbiased counseling and education on Medicare Part A, B, C, and D. Assists clients with enrollment, submitting bills, and forms for reimbursement. Helps resolve billing issues, and apply for appeals. Also offers presentations on Medicare, Prevention Services, Long-term Care, and other Medicare products. Information may include:
- Medicare Advantage
- Supplemental Medigap insurance policies
- Long term insurance
- Prescription drugs
