• Eligibility: Low-income taxpayer who cannot afford professional tax services, may qualify for the LITC. The LITC chooses to represent clients on a case-by-case basis. This decision is often determined by income guidelines and other criteria. Household income cannot exceed 250% of the federal poverty guidelines.
